QUALITY CERTIFICATIONS OF OUR ASSOCIATED LABORATORY

The laboratory has a health registration and a certificate of verification of compliance from the Ministry of Health. It works according to the standards of ISO 15189.

Facilities appropriate to the Mexican Official Standard NOM-007-SSA3-2001, which deals with the proper handling of samples to avoid contamination, RPBI handling, as well as specialized equipment for molecular biology techniques.

It is accredited by the National Institute of Epidemiological Reference (InDRE) to detect the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

It has a Quality Management System certified under ISO 9001:2015, which promotes the adoption of a process-based approach when developing, implementing and improving the effectiveness of a quality management system, to increase customer satisfaction by meeting the requirements, which ensures quality management of each of the processes for carrying out studies.

The laboratory is certified by the College of American Pathologists (CAP). CAP certification aims to ensure the reliability of laboratory results through compliance with a series of requirements, including: management, facilities, internal quality control, external quality assessment, control of instruments and reagents, technical procedures, personnel, information systems and security.

It has accredited experts to perform legal DNA paternity tests.

It has a team of trained professionals with more than 10 years of experience in the implementation of Molecular Biology methodologies. The staff has postgraduate studies in molecular diagnosis and is constantly training in molecular diagnosis in different areas (Human Identification, Pathogen Identification, Clinical Genetics, Genomic Medicine and Molecular Oncology).

It also has strategic alliances with international companies, institutes and research centers specialized in molecular biology, which have the highest level of certifications and accreditation, with which certified high-tech diagnostic studies can be offered.
